Driving this scale will require a high-impact, experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to lead our recruiting function.
Summary
Teague Electric is seeking an accomplished Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and elevate our recruiting function with a strong foundation in skilled trades and/or the construction industry. The Director of Talent Acquisition will shape and execute strategic hiring initiatives aligned with growth objectives and revenue targets, working closely with operations, leadership, and industry stakeholders. Deep recruiting expertise, combined with business acumen and labor market insight, will be essential to scale the Company’s workforce effectively and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition & Growth Alignment
Lead development and execution of talent acquisition strategies that scale with projected revenue and business expansion goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally to identify workforce needs, aligning hiring targets with corporate and operational growth plans.
Operations & Pipeline Management
Build, maintain, and forecast candidate pipelines by department to ensure readiness for hiring surges.
Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with key candidate sources—trade schools, vocational programs, referral networks, community partners, and more.
Monitor labor market dynamics, competitor hiring trends, and internal demand signals to proactively adjust sourcing strategies.
Process Optimization & Metrics-Driven Performance
Evaluate current recruiting workflows, refining tools, methodologies, and processes for enhanced effectiveness.
Establish and manage recruiting KPIs—time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate conversion rates—to inform decisions and drive accountability.
Consistently meet or exceed hiring goals across monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through disciplined execution and team leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the principal recruiter partner to the Operations team, ensuring alignment of recruiting plans with operational execution.
Engage with hiring managers and department leaders to refine role requirements, streamline processes, and enhance the candidate experience.

Demonstrated success in recruiting within the skilled trades and/or construction industry, across all seniority levels.
Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of how effective recruiting across organizational tiers propels overall hiring outcomes.
Strong business acumen and capability to translate labor market intelligence into actionable talent strategies.
Required Skills and Abilities
Strategic Workforce Planning & Stakeholder Engagement – partnering with department heads and executives for alignment on hiring plans and long-term needs.
Data-Driven Decision Making – proficiency in tracking and interpreting recruiting metrics and reports to inform strategy.
Employer Branding & Sourcing Innovation – managing channels like social media, trade partnerships, and marketing alignment to enhance candidate attraction.
Operational Excellence – applying best practices in process refinement and operational alignment in recruiting function.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least ten years of human resource management experience, with prior experience working in construction, electrical services, and/or industrial services preferred.
